As co-Chair of the ASEAN-China Post Ministerial Conference, I was glad to announce with FM Wang Yi the formal adoption of the Framework for a Code of Conduct in the South China Sea.

Foreign ministers of ASEAN and our partners spent the last two days discussing ways to step up regional cooperation and exchanging views on global developments.

We reaffirmed ASEAN's unity, centrality, and commitment to resolve issues peacefully in line with international law.
