This morning we asked for the public's assistance in locating a college-age female. She has been identified and is assisting with our investigation. A suspect is in custody and charges are pending. Due to the continuing investigation, we are not releasing his identity at this time but ask that anyone who has had an interaction with the driver of a black Nissan Sentra in the Athens area to please contact the ACCPD.
