Wujek Ousmane Coulibaly przewodził wspólnocie rodzinnej żyjącej przez lata na jednej ziemi. Teraz część rodziny chce jej sprzedaży i podziału zysków, jednak okazuje się, że ziemia należy do państwa.
Reżyserka dokumentuje proces walki o ziemię, podziały, ale też próby zachowania dziedzictwa pr…zodków, ukazując także sytuację i rolę kobiet w tej społeczności.
