Nothing! nothing! nothing! has touched my soul as deeply as the thousands of replies I continue to receive from you in response to my walking. All I am doing is walking! You are doing FAR, FAR MORE for me than I am doing for you; you are sharing your pain with me, and I am feeling it! I do not know right now where this journey will take us but I do know that we are in it together and I also know that I can never go back. You have given me ...a reason to be alive! You have given me a purpose!
I walked this morning at 7:30am with my friend, Bob Garry. We walked for Daniela, for Daniela's mom, for 800,000 DREAMers, for their parents, for all immigrants in America, for all who seek refuge on our borders and for the reunification of parents and children who have been separated.
I will walk tomorrow morning at 8:00am. I welcome your company if you are in the area.
