The Bridgeport Police Department (BPD) announced Nikki Yovino turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Yovino is accused of filing a false police report and tampering with evidence.
The alleged victim, Nikki Yovino (8/21/98), reported that she was sexually assaulted by two black males while at a house party on Lakeside Drive in Bridgeport. Yovino was a Sacred Heart University student at the time of this complaint, and one of her alleged assailants was also a student and football player at SHU. The second male was a former SHU student.
