A Skylert message was issued to our school community earlier this evening and posts have been made to local media outlets. Due to increasing and excessive absences among staff and students due to illness, flu-like symptoms, and confirmed cases of flu, all B-PC schools and school offices will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17. The incubation period is 4-5 days. We are hopeful that this break in school attendance will decrease the cross-contamination that often occurs in public places and that we can welcome students and staff back to school healthy on Tuesday, January 21. Efforts are underway to reschedule all extracurricular activities. Stay well.
