#PeaceinMotion to create a strategy for a community safety plan. Gun violence is a complicated issue, for over the past year, (MONSE) has teamed up with Cities United, community organizations, and local leaders to help break down the barriers that have held back our residents.
With input from all parties, we mapped out Toledo’s Violence Support Ecosystem to find the gaps in our current approach. We’ve identified 14 key areas that need support, including rapid relocation and t...emporary housing for those at high risk of gun violence, as well as a 72-Hour Community Response and Continuum of Care.
It’s crucial to create a complete circle of supportive services. This means making sure that everyone—from individuals to entire neighborhoods—has access to the help they need when they need it most.
