Death of Black Lives Matter Activist

As you are aware, one of our most successful activist in the Black Lives Matter Movement, Muhiyidin Elamin Moye, has been killed. He was shot at night in New Orleans, Louisiana on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. This MUST be a call to arms as Moye was contacted to help organize the Black Lives Movement in New Orleans and this seems to be a Civil Rights Action that should be further investigated by the United States Justice Department.

A young m...an, 32 years old, on the move to help make life better for Black people, without any acts of violence involved has been senselessly taken away, as if someone was against "doing the right thing."

So many good words have been spoken about this young man that would let you know he was about the business of making a difference in the world through his charisma that seemed to draw people as he spoke out for the rights of Black People.

We are asking that you take this death serious and write letters to the Attorney General, The Honorable Jeff Sessions, United States Justice Department, as well as to your elected officials, Congressmen and Senators, letting them know, that we too feel that Black Lives Matter and this was a Civil Rights action that needs to be handled and they should move quickly. The address for the Justice Department is as follows:

U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20530-0001

Thank you for what you are going to do to bring this killer to justice.
