The errant actions of a few can jeopardise our collective efforts to keep our communities safe from COVID-19. That is why we have been stepping up our enforcement checks on F&B outlets.
Last weekend, 23 F&B outlets were found to have breached Safe Management Measures (SMMs). 3 of these outlets have been ordered to close and 15 of them have been fined for not adhering to measures.
Last night, our Enforcement Officers inspected 57 F&B outlets and found another 7 breaches. These... included allowing patrons to be seated in groups larger than 5 persons, and sale and consumption of alcohol after 10.30pm.
It is regrettable that we continue to find F&B outlets flouting SMMs. These actions are placing Singaporeans at risk. A resurgence of #COVID19 infections would set us back in the progress that we have made in transiting towards a new normal.
Let’s be mindful to observe safe distancing measures and be socially responsible when we dine out and go about our daily lives. Together we can keep Singapore safe! 🇸🇬
