HI-CERT received funding for the first half of our emergency communications project today…the plan calls for 6 trailers equipped with satellite internet and HAM radio communications equipment …during a fiber outage these trailers will be in each village and provide free wi-fi calling…we took delivery of the first of 3 trailers funded by the Outer Banks Community Foundation…we hope to have 3 more funded in September…
