皆様、いつもお世話になっております。
さて、京都橘高校吹奏楽部が２０１８年１月１日に２度目のローズパレードの出場を果たすことになり、世界の檜舞台で演奏するために、日々練習を重ねておりますが、この度、ローズパレードを運営する、パサデナ・ローズ・トーナメント協会主催で、ローズパレードに出場するバンドから、２０１８年度のローズパレードのテーマである、Making a Differenceというテーマにちなんで、吹奏楽部の地域社会への貢献やボランティア活動をテーマにしたビデオを募り、上記のウェッブサイト（URL）で動画を公開し、世界中の視聴者から投票を受け付けることになりました。

The Kyoto Tachibana High School Band is hard at work practicing for their second appearance on the world stage in the Rose Parade, taking place on January 1, 2018. The Tournament of Roses Association, who manages and sponsors the Rose Parade, requested that the participating marching bands create videos that represent this year’s theme of “Making a Difference” by presenting examples of service and volunteer activities. The videos are shared with the public on the above website, and viewers are invited to vote for the video they believe exemplifies the spirit of the theme.

今回は、２０１２年１月３日にカリフォルニアで開催した東日本大震災の復興支援のためのチャリティーコンサートの模様をオーディションビデオとして提出することになりました。このコンテストで優勝できた場合には、本来ローズパレードの出場者の渡航費などを軽減するために付与される賞金ではありますが、震災の復興支援のために全額寄付をさせて頂くことになっています。

The Kyoto Tachibana High School Green Band video contains footage from the charity concert performed in Southern California the day following their first Rose Parade performance, in which the band procured donations used to benefit victims of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.
In the event that the Kyoto Tachibana video wins this contest, the prize money will not be used for the cost of the band’s trip to the United States, but will be donated to ongoing recovery efforts from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

ビデオコンテストの投票につきまして、少し複雑であるため、以下のような手順で整理致しました。また、この記事の後に追加でアップロード致しました写真もご確認下さい。

■手順１：下記のURLをクリック（またはタップ）する。

■手順２：各バンドの動画リストの内、左から２番目にある、
Kyoto Tachibana High School Green Band の動画を見つける。

■手順３：①PCの場合→動画にカーソルを合わせる
　　　　 ②スマートフォンの場合→動画を長押しする

■手順４：すると、投票ボタンである青色の▲マークが出てきて、これをクリックまたはタップすれば投票完了です。

※手順３のところで、いきなり動画をクリックまたはタップすると、YouTubeの動画が流れ始め、青色の投票ボタンが出てきませんので、ご注意下さい。動画モードになっても、画面左下の赤色の▲印をクリック（タップ）することでも投票が可能です。
