We need help.

It is growing and dangerous.

Too many babies and children.

Too many 80+ degree days.

Too many days with people standing outside in the heat, rain, thunder and lightening.

Over 500 people (my count for last Wednesday) with little or no access to food, water or bathrooms.

I understand that we need to deal with Immigration laws for what is happening inside of ICE Miramar but I implore all good citizens and electeds to help stop what is happening on the outside of this building.

ICE maintains that they can accomodate 30 people an hour and yet hundreds are made to wait outside for hours on end in the heat. In the rain. With little or no access to water.

We need help. Please call the mayor of Miramar to shut down the street to ICE (they are not safe for residents, visitors or anyone in Miramar), until ICE can handle this crowd. The mayor's number is Phone: 954-602-3151 and then asked to be transferred to our City Commissioners and let them know this is dangerous. Reach out to all state and federal representatives. WTF are they? These people are our community.

THERE IS NO BEAUTY AND PROGRESS IN MIRAMAR RIGHT NOW.

In a city, county and state of immigrants I am disgusted that our elected officials are ignoring their responsibility to protect our visitors and citizens (FYI the definition of a citizen does not include a requirement for papers. The definition of a citizen is an inhabitant). Our elected officials need to step up and do their job.

#PissedOffMom is really pissed people are profitting off of separating families and kidnapping children and babies. And endangering my community and dragging Miramar into the mud.
