The first-ever Niue Science Festival is underway thanks to the U.S. Mission New Zealand, TÅ«hura Otago Museum and New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade
Staff from Tūhura Otago Museum and University of Otago's physics department gave hundreds of young Einsteins immersive and interactive science lessons, from unraveling the secrets of rocket science (no, it isn't rocket science after all 😉) to understanding the safety of medicines - it's been... a truly "elemental" journey!
The festival also saw mini-scientists getting a taste of augmented reality by crafting their very own microbes. It's been a non-stop carousel of back-to-back sessions, with each workshop buzzing with 50-60 students!
