I'm thankful for Governor Janet Mills and lawmakers for postponing the implementation of the statewide bag ban. While we have been extremely disadvantaged here in Waterville, I will speaking to the Task Force today about what we can do to make Waterville shoppers and hard working store employees safer during this pandemic with regards to plastic and paper bags. In the meantime, unless you are fully sanitizing your bags at home, PLEASE leave them there and help stop the spread of coronavirus here in Waterville. It is now believed that this virus may live on surfaces for 10 days!
