They say that a free speech campaign is always the first stage of any serious democratic revolution.

It looks like that's what we are going to get at UGA.

I'm in a position where it's an open question whether I'm allowed to talk about White people as White people in front of White people.

...

The thing is, if you look at this graph, one group is going down and the other group is going up, so there are only so many ways to theorize the situation that don't end up addressing the possibility that a critical mass of White people-- whose distinguishing characteristic is their Whiteness-- advocate for policies that keep the blue line high and rising and the red line low and falling.

Also, someone is going to have to explain to me how you have an ROTC on campus and still "condemn the advocacy or suggestion of violence in any form."

(I'm not even going to bring up "campus carry.") Violence is all around us. I know this because I've been stopped by police officers with guns. I guess I'm just supposed to pretend that the US is a Quaker nation, or I'm supposed to understand that Athens is suffused with violence, but I'm not supposed to say it and White people in the same sentence.

I'm just saying if justice comes, it's going to come with a redistribution of goods and services. I just don't know how at least some White people are going to handle that. If the future is anything like the past, not particularly well.
