Just received a beautiful comment from a parishioner... it brings tears to my eyes and challenges me to remember what we SAY we are all about here at Saint Luke (the physician) whose gospel is that of mercy and healing...

This poor tormented woman came to church. How beautiful. All are welcome. Although the world will see destruction and sickness, we can see the Lord working to bring a soul home. It may have been a form, however violent, of prayer. I think of the psalms ... How long Lord must I wait? Where are you Lord in my darkness? The psalms are full of pleadings for God's attention of a tortured soul.
May the Lord flood her with His love and mercy. And may Mary continue to keep this woman in her protective care.
