We will start the second festival weekend on October 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Salesian church of St. John Bosco with a program full of compositions by romantic authors from the Czech Republic and Germany. The concert entitled + Brahms is a collection of organ choral preludes by Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak's biblical songs. It isn't without reason that "Swan Song" is the subtitle of this concert, referring to the fact that both compositions belonged to one of the last compositions written by these artists. Andreas Liebig – organist of the famous gothic Münster cathedral in Basel and Professor of the Music Academy in Innsbruck will perform in a duo with the Swiss soprano Gudrun Sidonie Otto, offering us full musical ecstasy – all this on the 125th death anniversary of the German classic. This concert is held thanks to the support of the Swiss Embassy in Poland.
