Rio 2016 organisers and the city government are working together to find loving homes for cats, dogs and other stray animals found in Olympic zones in Rio.

Four-month old Hercules was rescued from the Deodoro area. The adorable kitten is being looked after at a special shelter and is now available for adoption in Brazil. See more pictures of him:
