My dear friends, on Saturday night I was caught with my friend in the throes of the London Bridge terror attack. It was terrifying but I am so grateful that we are safe, alive and unharmed. That is not to say that what we saw has not left an imprint. To the wounded I saw, I am sending love, healing and prayers. I want to put this message out today because there are some things I learnt that I feel may keep you all safe.

1. Put 999 in your phone- it is the UK police number. A...s much as you think you will remember this in an emergency- your brain is in survival mode- you won't.

2. If something like this happens stick with your friends - you will help keep each other safe and calm. You make better decisions together.

3. Don't go out without an extra battery charger. You need your phone in these things!

4. I had called my sister to tell her what was happening and asked her to text me the news as it what was going on. Because we ourselves didn't really know what was happening this was incredibly helpful- you don't have time to look what the news is saying but information is power in this kind of situation.

5. Avoid the high density tourist places when the country is in a state of high terror threat. Keep it local and low key. Safety first.

6. Don't run in a crowd but walk fast as there is a risk of causing a stampede.

My beautiful friends and family, may this event make us all realise to love and be grateful for each other every day. Life is gift. Everything is secondary to the beautiful people in your life. Now more than ever we need to take care of each other.

Love and light my friends 💛
