📣The Agreement on Security Cooperation between Ukraine and Poland, signed yesterday by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Tusk, is a new important step in strengthening the defense capabilities of both neighboring countries! 🇺🇦🤝🇵🇱
One of the key provisions of this agreement is the creation of the Ukrainian Legion—a special volunteer unit that will train on the territory of Poland to protect our motherland.
Why it is important:
- Increasing combat readiness: our volunteers will receive state-of-the-art training from allies from Poland, Lithuania, and other EU countries.
- International support and equipment: the legion will be equipped with the best equipment from our international partners, which will increase its effectiveness on the battlefield.
- An opportunity for Ukrainian citizens in Europe: Ukrainians who are in Poland and other EU countries will be able to voluntarily join the Ukrainian defense forces by signing a contract with the AFU.
This initiative demonstrates unwavering support and solidarity from our European partners, as well as their readiness to stand side by side with Ukraine.
