Hey everyone, prepare yourself “Yikes, Gross and Wow!!!” If you use Google search, then you’ll definitely want to read this. I promise if you read to the end it will be worthwhile!
Chapter 1:
I was bored and wanted hummus. I ask Google for “Toronto Chick Peas” and I get 48 results of “Toronto Chick Peeing” . I chuckle, one search result grabs my attention - “Toronto Girl Peeing”. My gut feeling is probably the same as Dougie Hamilton, the guy who found a camera recording hi...m in an AIRBNB. (Sinister sounds).
I debate clicking.
(Fade to black)- side story:
At two different Google Events in Toronto I was secretly videotaped by a man using a hidden 360 camera. The guy was close to a washroom taking video’s up women’s skirts and posting them online. I had a bad feeling about the “Toronto Girl Peeing” video. Dealing with Google to get the images images removed was tough. They later told me the blacklisted him.
Chapter 2- Back to the action:
Finally I click on the link and discover that “Toronto girl Peeing” is a video on a porn site. The girl in the video is not me, phew. The video was recorded off the security camera screens of First Canadian Place using a cellphone.
The girl is unaware she is being recorded while she was peeing. Is she aware someone stole the video from the security surveillance system, then posted it on a porn site? Now here is the catch 22. From my previous horrible experience at two Google events, they will only remove non-consensual porn when the person identifies themselves. “Toronto Girl Peeing” has to find out that the video was posted of herself for Google to remove it. Seriously Google?
As I sit, and think, I get more creeped out. Not too far from this mall, Google wants to build a city of the future called “Sidewalk Labs Toronto”. I’ve been to Sidewalk Labs public meetings where they explain how they want to put camera’s and sensors EVERYWHERE, recording EVERYTHING we do. These cameras and sensors will make your life better according to them, and the data will be anonymized.
Final chapter- WOW!
Google anonymizes people’s data? Hmm! Now how hard will it be using Google to find out who this “anonymous” porn video poster is, and is it the same guy? Nope,Seriously Google. I find Google didn’t blacklist the guy.
No. FNG. Way!
After 15 minutes on Google searching I find there is no such thing as anonymizing data from Google. I have the alleged name, address, employer, social media accounts, porn accounts of this the person that allegedly posted the videos all from their "anonymous" porn account.
WOW - I now realize Google is tracking more than people’s physical locations, their cookies, and it is relating all your online activity including porn to your google search results to people's names.
