Last January 26 to January 31, 2025, La Consolacion College Manila (LCCM) facilitated the week-long College Week Celebration led by the College Department, themed βLCCians as Pilgrims of Hope: United in Faith through SeΓ±or Sto. NiΓ±o.β
The celebration began with the Procession of Sto. NiΓ±o last January 26, 2025, which was followed by a Eucharistic Mass at Mother Consuelo Barcelo Theater (MCBT). Students from the Integrated Basic Educati...on Department (IBED) and College Department united through this celebration.
The first day of this enthusiastic and exciting celebration took place last January 28, which highlighted various activities including Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School's (SHS) basketball and volleyball games, Extemporaneous Speech, Bituin ng Kasuotang Turismo, and a number of booth all around LCCM.
However, the most exciting activities are yet to be experienced until January 30. On the second day of the celebration, the performers set the field on fire during the Streetdance Competition which took place in the morning. Following this competition was the Cinemendiola 2025: Pili ka, Pelikula, which took place at MCBT. Before ending the day, LCCian's sang their hearts out during the Battle of the Bands Competition.
During the last day of the celebration last January 31, the Field Demonstration performed by students from Kinder to Grade 12 took place in the morning. On the latter part of the day, the Coronation of Mr. and Ms. LCCM brought excitement and enthusiasm to LCCians as they cheered for their best pair.
Although this is just a week-long celebration, it brought joy, enthusiasm, and positivity to LCCians that will last for a very long time. Through the activities and events that took place amidst the celebration, a new set of memories and friendships were made, which made the celebration more unforgettable.
