Oh how viciously and ignorantly they attack our lives. The really sad part about Higher Functioning Autism #ActuallyAutistic (Social Communication Disorder #SCD formerly Part Of Asperger’s Syndrome DSM-5) is there lack of ability to tune in, understand and show empathy for others. I only do what I do because I live it everyday. I am a citizen journalist, documentarian, Historian, activi…st, advocate, caregiver and Dad. I am ONLY able to do because my place on the spectrum gives me the ability to put up walls to certain emotions. I document. I see the injured. I put forward what society can not bare to witness. I am not sorry if by a miracle Tanner recovers one day and reads this. I pray he will appreciate the fact I worked around the clock towards the return of health for everyone, not just him.
