The 12-meter-long whale was trapped in fishing nets in Daya Bay. After it had been freed from the nets, authorities and zoologists tried to guide it back to sea. However, it continued to swim in shallow waters off Shenzhen and Huizhou and became stranded near the wharf on Tuesday afternoon.
