CHINDERAH
At approximately 12:16 today Tweed District Rescue Squad was activated to respond to a motor vehicle crash with reports the vehicle was in the river with persons trapped inside.
TDRS crews were first to arrive on scene and were able to assist the occupant out of the water and up the embankment. NSW Ambulance assessed and treated the patient.
...The crash occurred on the Pacific Highway just north of Dodd's Rd.
Also in attendance were NSW Police, and Fire & Rescue NSW.
