#Aleppo Old City. Entering the Umayyed Mosque burned, shelled and almost destroyed by NATO and Gulf State terrorists led by Nusra Front. I have a long video that shows the walk from the sniper barricades and front lines along the street towards the Mosque that had been used as a sniper centre. Up until 4pm yesterday this area would have been out of bounds as the Mosque was still occupied by terrorist factions and we would have been in danger of being sniped.
We were able to... enter this holy and historically magnificent Mosque destroyed by those who call themselves Muslims and those who call Terrorists, "rebels" in western government and media. It is a Sunni mosque by the way torn down, burned and desecrated by Wahhabi extremists under the banners of Nusra Front and associates.
The scenes that met us were truly devastating..the Nusra flags hung from the windows of this holy place, the ladders leading up to the narrow windows used as sniping vantage points. The remnants of shells and gas canisters, some of which were unexploded.
There was still a sense of alertness and wariness from the Syrian Arab Soldiers we saw in the windows, on the stairs and in the courtyard.
