Щодо суті справи: за дивним збігом обставин, її відкрили одразу після мого візиту під суд над Мартиненком.
Впродовж півтора року перевірили все: пошту, месенджери, обшукали, опитали всіх знайомих, родичів, друзів.

Шукали сенсацій 🙂: дорогу нерухомість, значні кошти, офшорні чи будь-які компанії, схеми, корупцію.

Переконалися, що не можливо знайти те, чого немає.

Витрачено купу часу і коштів платників податків з єдиною метою - оголосити підозру першому міністру.

Як питали мене в Могилянці: чи Ви можете дати нам гарантії, що за проведені реформи проти нас не будуть порушені кримінальні справи? Я тоді чесно відповів, що: ні, не можу, бо ми живемо в такий час, коли все здобувається через боротьбу.

Мій висновок: якщо це найбільші «злочини», які змогли мені інкримінувати за час моєї роботи міністром, то мені не соромно дивитися в очі ані нашим громадянам, ані іноземним партнерам, ані керівництву країни.

У той же час, хочу нагадати, що на УЗ щорічно зникає безслідно більше 15 млрд грн, як заходили Раянейр, підписувався контракт з GE, проводилося днопоглиблення - не знає лише лінивий. Але, на це часу немає, є інші важливі цілі...

Вітаю, вибори почалися...

The morning of September 13th provided me with an unusual experience.

At 8:40, representatives of the NABU notified me that I have been accused of "illicitly accumulating funds" 10 years ago, "using or purchasing" cars for my brother's benefit, and not declaring my stay in a house over the course of two weeks in 2016.

By sheer coincidence, the case was opened right after my visit to Martinenko's trial.
Over the course of 18 months, they've scoured e-mails, messengers, and interviewed my friends and relatives.

They were looking for some groundbreaking news 🙂 : expensive real estate, loaded bank accounts, offshores, maybe a business or two, schemes, and general corruption.

You can't find what doesn't exist, guys.

You've wasted time and taxpayer money in order to cast shade on a minister by accusing him.

Well, you've certainly done that!

When I was visiting the Mohyla academy, I was asked a question: can you give us a guarantee that when we carry out reforms, we won't be the targets of politically motivated criminal investigations? I gave them the honest answer: no. We've living in a time where every single victory is hard-fought.

Here's my takeaway: if this is the best they can come up with as far as "illicit activity" goes, then I'll have no problems looking anyone in the eye - not our citizens, not our foreign partners, not our government.

At the same time, I'd like to remind everyone that Ukrainian Railways mysteriously "bleeds" over 15 billion UAH a year, and everyone knows about the battles fought over Ryanair, the GE contract and the dredging operations. But of course, that's not important. There are other, more important goals in mind...
