As of July 2024, the African Development Bank's ongoing active portfolio in Southern Africa consists of 227 operations – with the value of the commitments exceeding $12 billion.
This week, ministers of finance and economic planning, global development partners, industry leaders, and civil society representatives, will gather to commemorate the Bank’s transformative development contributions to th...e region.
The celebration will also unveil the Bank's vision for the next decade, including transformative initiatives in renewable energy, cross-border infrastructure, and digital transformation.
