The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has issued a RED ALERT notice in the Luzon grid from 10 AM to 4 PM, while YELLOW ALERT was declared from 8 AM to 10 AM and from 4 PM to 9 PM. This is due to several power plant outages.
Red/Yellow alert means there is insufficient power supply in the grid.
In case of supply deficiency, corporations and commercial establishments participating under the Interruptible Load Program (ILP) are ready to use their generator sets... to help prevent / minimize incidents of power outage.
May we also advise that should the need arises, there is possibility that Manual Load Dropping (MLD) or rotational brownout will take effect. We will keep you posted.

1. Iwasan ang pagbukas-sara ng refrigerator kung hindi kinakailangan.
2. Palaging linisin ang mga electric fan blades at aircon vents.
3. I-unplug ang mga appliances on standby na hindi ginagamit.
