One behalf of the City of La Villa, we are happy to announce that the early stages of excavating have officially begun for the Delta Region Water Management Project. This is a very big milestone not only for La Villa but for Hidalgo County as well. This project will increase flood control for the populated areas of Hidalgo County and eventually establish a process to reclaim the water for municipal and/or irrigation use.
Eventhough this project is in the very early stages of... excavation and eventually construction, it is a project that has been in the planning and development stages for quite sometime and we want to give a big thank you to Hidalgo County Precinct 1, Hidalgo County Drainage District 1 and above all, our tax payers for making this project a reality.
We will continue to do our absolute best in maintaining our Citizens informed and educated with the development of this monumental project as it develops. We continue to embrace all of the positive progress that is happening in our beloved community...once again THANK YOU!!!!
