Last night, I lead Congressional Black Caucus Special Order Hour. The topic was "Dr. King's Dream--50 Years Later."

Next week is Dr. King's birthday, Janurary 15th and this coming April 4th is the 50th anniversary of his assignation.

As we look back on Dr. King's' accomplishements and his imporantance in all communities, we must recognize Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King not only as a great man, but a great patriot who loved America and the ideals that underpin our democracy.
