The online activism currently taking place is actively challenging the rules and backwards regulations for how we treat womxn. A lot of these conversations, however, exclude womxn that are not active on social media and live in townships, rural communities and the Cape Flats.

In an effort to address this imbalance, Women's Net have held conversations on using social media as a tool for online activism for communities and NGO's new to social media, and will give these voices a platform to share their stories during the 16 Days of Activism Campaign.
