About Pola
  • Here at Pola Artisan Cheese, we use Old World European traditions and techniques and locally sourced milk, to create a variety of cow and goat's milk cheeses. Our cheeses range from soft ripened cheese aging no more than two weeks to hearty mountain type cheeses aged over a year. Procuring milk from farms in Bryan, Moulton and Waller, Texas, we stand proudly by our motto.

    Pola has a variety of cheese in rotation from constant favorites like Beer Bathed Tomme and Charoomy to seasonal items such as Ashy Rind Pyramid and Grape Leaf Goat. We are Houston’s first locally made artisan cheese company and we pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of artisanal quality of taste, texture and complexity.

    Our cheese is available at several restaurants and wine bars in the Houston area, and for retail sale at the Urban Harvest Eastside Market and the Urban Harvest City Hall Market. We're proud to serve not only the Houston market, but select restaurants, hotels, and wine bars in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio.
