You guys think that College should be free for all Yes. Yeah. Sure What do you say that It's so difficult to obtain an education that it's become a Center for the wealthy so you have to be yeah wealthy hence the situation going on right now yeah. So I think that making education more accessible for people is one of should be one of the top priorities However how to do that? It's a little bit of a difficult issue. So I could begin with that. Do you think that If everyone can kinda go to College and go for free, it'll kinda be like a high school education It'll be like if everyone can go then it doesn't mean anything anymore It already kind of doesn't mean anything the amount of people that have bachelors degrees that don't actually pursue an education in what they're achieving adaption Instagram is absurd. I think it's like 30 percent or something like that I don't know why I know that number it was like people should be if people are gonna get College for free then they should be required to at least get something that's useful You shouldn't be allowed to major and you know Art or maybe a bad example philosophy associate like these degrees that don't pay any money and you end up working at Starbucks. When you graduate like you shouldn't be able to go for free. If that's what you're majoring in I feel like though a lot of people don't work in what they major in like my friend wasn't Africana studies major and now she's like working at like a normal company. So I think like it's still it's beneficial to be educated and then be able to apply Other things also works at the end of the day in College or learning more like Then actual like what you learn in your classes Yeah, I wouldn't exactly equate it to high school because comparing an 18 year old to a 20 - two year old. I think College gives you time to like build that life experience. so that's what I'm saying. I wanted to be so that it's not like high school so that's something like above high school. Let me ask you what do you think if like if I wanted to be like a trash man right and I make like let's say a hundred $50000 a year I do really well and I never went to College but then someone wants to go to College and then my taxpayer dollars will be paying for that person's free College. Now, there's a free Fair that I have to pay for them I think like everyone has a right to education and like what you choose to do with that is your personal choice and like you could say right now, people go to College and like an English major and they're not really learning applicable life skills but they can then apply that how they want to and like still benefit society So is it fair for me to have to pay for someone else's education I think if you're seeing education is like a human right then like yeah like it would be taxpayer I don't know if I agree the higher education as a human right I don't think along the idea of like education should be free. Then we're going on the idea that it would be like a human right I don't know Yeah. Convincing people Yeah. We've been seeing people that education is a right women Yeah it's not It's not gonna be possible So sorry She's taking the no oh sure it's already hard enough to convince people that other things are human rights I think at least one international school maybe it couldn't be free but I do think like the price of College is way too much and like it's contributed to the wealth gap and like there is a way to make education more accessible Do you know why College is so expensive? Now I mean I don't think 10 years professors I don't know everyone competing for the best like amenities and facilities expected. Yeah Give you a big reason The colleges have gotten involved with the federal government so that people are no longer getting loans from banks from private banks. They're getting loans from the government if you go to school if you go to school and you get that English degree and you don't make any money when you graduate cuz you got a useless degree you can't file bankruptcy on a student loan from the government so the school, the University now has no incentive to not continue to raise their prices because they know that you can't file bankruptcy on the loan back in the day in the seventys sixtys things like People go to a Bank They get a cosigner with their parents and then get a loan if they had really good grades and that's how they would go to school and school is like you go to school for like 20 - $500 a year, right? It's like so cheap and now with the federal government involved because they wanna give people more opportunities, you know this trying to help people but really it's doing the opposite because it's making College way way way more expensive. So then how would you prevent the federal government from being involved like the federal? You don't let the federal government give Think about like if you were to go buy a car right right now you would they wouldn't just give you a car right or give you a loan for a car. If your credit sucks or you crashed a previous car or something like that that's how it should be with College but where where do they have the constitutional power? Sorry Where did the other constitutional power to like make it possible to give loans like? Is it a bill that they passed or like like how would you overturn that loves people No like I'm sorry, I was explaining your question wasn't responding It's like how do you like the one that like the one business It's it's a long process because getting something like that is is very hard. I mean you basically have to abolish entire segments of the Department of education to get that to get that done right there all these and then again you have all these people are prices are so high cuz we have all these people working in this government positions gonna be unemployed because their job the job is useless. Okay so that they're making way too much money You could these administrators at these universities and also in the federal government doing this are making tons money hand over fist and they are doing literally nothing Okay so it needs to be much more streamline like exactly about the car thing like you should only be able to get a College loan from a Bank. If you had good grades and like the Bank actually wants to give you a loan you don't deserve it in my opinion Did you guys have fun Great? This was a great debate I loved it You guys learn anything Yeah. I mean I don't usually think about this on daily basis. So I appreciate it right I learn something Thank you guys I appreciate it Thank you
