Watch Will do this! A couple days ago Will had a breakthrough in his recovery! As you know, he lost use of his right hand (among other things) after his accident. Fine motor skills are the most challenging things to recover after a stroke or brain injury. Now, thanks to a lot of prayer and therapy perseverance, Will can make his pinky finger move, on it's own, on command. This may not seem like much to you but to us its a huge milestone! As far as I'm concerned, Christmas came early this year. Thank you for praying for our "Survivor Man" Will. (dad/steve)
Will asked us to post this video we shot of him today, WALKING down the hallway with his physical therapists. Thank you for your prayers, and Go Will go!

Tom Grubbs was on the Air Care team that flew to Asheville, packed (a comatose) Will into a medical jet, and got him home. We're FOREVER grateful for Tom, Bruce Feinstein, Heather and all the team. Congratulations Thomas Grubbs!

The Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame will honor Lebanon's Thomas C. Grubbs Jr. on Nov. 5.

Last night "Survivor Man" Will was inducted into the National Honor Society! It's impossible to appreciate the time, effort and ingenuity Will has employed to pursue his school work. I won't go down the list but trust me when I say that Will works 3x as hard to overcome his challenges and consistently exceeds everyone expectations.

When the experts were wanting Will pause his academic involvement so he could focus on physical/neuro rehab, Will made it clear that to stay in l...ock-step with his peers was the ultimate rehabilitation goal for him. We honored Will's wishes and are so glad we did.

Pictured next to Will is one of his all-time favorite teachers, Coach Larry Nesbitt. Coach Nesbitt is one of Will's biggest fans and an inspiration to Will.
