We've been a little bit quiet whilst traveling back from Japan, but don't worry - the game's still moving along! Here's a little look at its new dialogue screens ^-^

Recently I've been working a lot on the flow of the levels in Plurum. The prologue / tutorial level is now much more fully formed, taking players through building their first tower and manufacturing bullets.

Big stuff this time - since the last update we revealed concept art, revamped the battles and started directing the levels themselves!

Back to the battle screen code! What you're seeing here is seeker missiles "tracking" a static target and overshooting. They orbit, they run out of fuel, they explode for fun!

If anyone ever played Tiberian Sun, you might've come across SunEdit 2K. It was a pretty big inspiration for Plurum!

Did you ever play Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun? If you did, I'm sure you'll agree that, damn, what a game. I'm also sure there are legions of developers out there who find elements of C&C creeping into their own games. In Plurum it's not hard to see

Writing on Unity, and one of the more awkward problems I've hit.

Looking into displaying an object that has a Transform within a Unity UI making use of RectTransforms.

The core tower design screen is picking up steam now - we've got a live preview of the tower, as you build it. This is the meat of Plurum's customisability and was pretty much the first sketch of the game, so it's exciting to see it take shape!
