Pride Hamilton updated their profile picture.

Thank you to all who submitted a logo for our Artist Call out! We appreciate everyone's submission, and thank you for sharing your pride with us! We had so many amazing submissions, it was extremely difficult to choose just one. That being said, we have made a selection for our brand new Hamilton Pride logo.

Our new Hamilton Pride logo is a beautiful, colourful, art inspired design, reflecting Hamilton's amazing, diverse art scene. It also expresses themes of peace, dive...rsity and inclusion. This beautiful new logo was designed by the one and only Lindsay van Ekelenburg, a Hamilton-based artist who is a longtime LGBTQ+ advocate and ally. Her signature style mixes inks and watercolours to produce pieces that are delicate yet bold. She recently went viral with her tribute portrait of Carrie Fisher, and is one to watch in the local and national art scene.

Check out Lindsay's work below!

As a side note, only a few more days left to submit your poster design for our 2018 Pride event! Your poster will be used and posted Hamilton-wide, distributed to businesses, used on our social media platforms and website, displayed at a Pride Event and used on our Pride Event program with artist's credit. Please contact for more information / artwork specifications. We'd love you to share your vision for Pride with the Hamilton community through your art, and can't wait to see all of your submissions! Happy designing!
