Great people! I've gotten way faster and stronger as a runner since I started running with PR Run Club and I've made so many friends in the process! If I could rate this more than 5/5 stars, I would!

It's hot out there. So in tomorrow's workout we'll spend some time in the Peony Gardens. We have water stops at the 1.5 mile and 3.4 mile points of a 6.0 mile run. "How's the serenity?" The workout itself is 2 sets of 5 x (2 minutes hard, 1 minute easy). Getting downtown is tricky because of Art Fair. So meet us at 6 pm at 225 South Ashley OR at 6:20 pm at the entrance to the Peony Gardens (after our 1.5 mile warm up). Route is below. http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1687131092

I happen to be animator, so I made this gif for you visual types. We'll be running around central campus PR Run Club

Paul and Colleen will be away this weekend, so your trusty run leaders will be Shannon, Jason, Bob and Farsad. Thanks to all of them for helping to keep things going this weekend.

It's going to be another snowy one, so off to North Campus we (OK, you) go!

Here's the route, which is 7.5 miles out and easily looped for 10, or sliced and diced any way you like:...

We will start at 8 a.m. and the studio (326 W. Liberty St.) will be open by 7:45 a.m.

Winter is not all fun and games, folks! It’s time to put on your game face, get dressed (warmly) and hit the bricks. We have a mixed pavement and dirt road route cooked up for tomorrow at 8 a.m. at the studio, 326 W. Liberty. The route is 8 miles out for 16 miles total. Or a nice 10-mile loop is possible. See you out there!

Ann Arbor Track Club will host an indoor track meet on Tuesday night. These meets are held twice per year and designed to be fun and accessible to runners of all ages. In the last meet held in June there were 52 runners and times in the mile event ranged from 4:34 to 8:20. Every now and then you should find out how fast you can run a mile.

There are two distances on offer (mile and 300 meters) and three age groups (open, 40-54, and 55+). The venue is the Bowen Field House in Ypsilanti. Registration begins at 6:30 pm and the first event begins at 7:30 pm. Cost is $5 for AATC members and $7 otherwise. Results from past events appear at the link below.

YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SEE SOME MORE NORTH CAMPUS YOU GUYS. Last one for a while, we hope! Roads aren't quite clear yet throughout town.

Wintervals are on tonight at PR Run Club. Bundle up and get your lights; we're doing 500-meter and 800-meter intervals around the Big House, where the footing is reasonably good. Total workout mileage will be about 3; plus ~2 miles warm-up and cool-down. The studio opens at 5:45 p.m.; run starts at ~6 p.m.

Tonight, 6:30. We'll go up a hill, and we'll go down a hill. Somewhere in between them, we'll run wicked fast. See you then!
