I have always built my own computers because I wanted the best not the cheapest. This time I decided to explore having a custom computer built to my specificati...ons. I lucked out finding Puget Systems. I selected the parts I wanted on their Web Site and submitted it for a quote. Customer Service Rep William responded very quickly. Made some recommendations to my selections and to my surprise he did not try to up-sell me. In fact he thought I over specified some things. When he found out what I wanted he made me feel confident I would be happy with the computer they would build for me. Before I ordered I sent many questions and received very quick responses. I was shocked I hadn't dealt with a company that cared about their products and customers as much as Puget Systems since the 70's and 80's. In today's market service and quality are almost non-existent. If the computer I get is as good as the service so far I will be thrilled. See More

I am an architect, artist, photographer and computer techie and, three years ago I wanted to buy a good quality computer to use at home instead of the mass-prod...uced brand names I had bought so far for home. The major applications I run at home when I often work in the evenings are AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Lightroom, Photomatix Pro, MS Office Suite, Pinnacle Studio, Corel Painter, Corel Graphics Suite, Google Earth and for a bit of relaxation, Battlefield 4. After researching manufacturers, I decided on Puget Systems and bought a Deluge Mini which arrived in December 2011. The machine has been absolutely fantastic and has not given me any trouble at all. It is very fast and performs better than the HP Z400 and Z420 workstations I have in my office which have Intel Xeon processors. Three years later - it still runs everything I throw at it with ease and all I plan to do is to upgrade my GTX 580 to a GTX 970, (which I ordered from Puget today) and my Intel 300 GB SSD to a Samsumg 1TB SSD (which I will get from Puget when they receive them in a few days). This is an excellent machine with tested and matched parts and is, in my opinion, well worth the price. Thanks Puget Systems for building high-quality computers. See More

  • Guys any chance you could do article about CGI workstation? For some...one who mixes different tasks like modeling (3dsmax, ZBrush), rendering (VRay), simulation(particles, fluids), Photoshop work(high res textures and images like 8k), compositing and editing video (4k) in one computer? I can't decide to go with i76950x or i7 6900k or 2x Xeon E5-2630 v4. I'm afraid for such wide spectrum of work I do Xeons might be a bit too slow and 6900k might be a sweet spot for me. See More
  • I'm loving my desktop Deluge. Did the laptop selection go away for now? That's what got me in the door to opt for the desktop.
