Waterline Flushing - Updated February 5, 2018

Today, District Operators are flushing water lines in the Canterberry Crossing neighborhood near Canterberry Trail.

As part of the District’s waterline maintenance program, Operators will be working in various neighborhoods flushing, exercising valves and testing hydrants on a regular basis. This work may result in temporary red or discolored water. Information on "red water" is available in the FAQ’s (click "FAQ" button on any P...WSD website page).

Specific area updates will continue to be provided as information becomes available on this site. Additional line maintenance work continues throughout the year. Please watch for District contractors ERP, QPS and/or TW Summit, as well as PWSD vehicles in the area. We appreciate your support and help in keeping our operators and contractors safe!

American Water Works Association is with Parker Water & Sanitation District.

#TBT to last week when AWWA staff visited Rueter-Hess Reservoir in Colorado, used by Parker Water & Sanitation District for drinking water storage. Interesting fact- many archeological artifacts were found during its construction!

Volunteer Employees from Parker Water & Sanitation District were stationed at the Parker Walmart this past Saturday to encourage and support the Parker Task Force Food Bank . Additionally, many PWSD employees and our Board Members donated many items and funds that were taken to the Task Force to support our community!

The Parker Task Force is a non-profit organization that provides various services and programs for people in our community in need of support. They are 100% volunteer based. For more information, visit www.parkertaskforce.org.

You may have forgotten by now, but with the hot temperatures we experienced earlier this summer, PWSD set several water production records to keep up with customer water needs in June and July. Based on the high demands, we are assuming that our customers added a cycle or two to your irrigation clock. As a direct result, many of our customers received a higher than usual water bills.

For tips on how to water your landscape more efficiently, and learn about the no-cost i...rrigation audits and rebates, visit us at PWSD.org and click on the “Conservation” tab.

If you are a customer who has had the new AMI meter technology installed in your house, please remember you can check your usage on line, 24/7, at AquaHawk at https://parkco.aquahawk.us/login. For those new to the system, have your account number handy in order to register.

Need help registering for AquaHawk? Visit us at http://www.pwsd.org/2306/Meter-Replacement-Project to learn more, or call us at (303) 841-4627 Option 5, and we will walk you through the process.
