It's a sad day when Ideas Tap announces it will close later this year. A brilliant organisation that has done so much for young artists, and even they cannot secure governments or corporate funding. http://bit.ly/1Aa8Fzj

There’s something we need to tell you - you may want to sit down. Peter De Haan, the founder, Chairman and principal funder of IdeasTap, explains why our charity is closing – and what it means for our members. Read our FAQs for more details...

More than 2 months, 15 cities, 30 auditions, and a lot of full English breakfasts later, that's my @ymtuk auditions tour over! And what a fab day to finish in Norwich. Celebrating with a beer and thinking of team 2 who have another day to go in London tomorrow smile emoticon

It's @TallTalesBigMov takeover day! @ymtuk auditions Rachel is in Norwich and Khyle is in London

Good to meet @equityuk to chat about choreographer guidelines, and then to meet amazing poet Aoife Mannix to chat about a new project.... good things happening!

Thoughts on resolution season

It's Resolution! season and my Facebook feed, like many others inside London's dance bubble, is full of people telling me to come to their show. I am currently in France so I will miss England's biggest 'dance lottery' this year,...

Calling all dancers in Kent! Absolutely gutted that I will be missing two exciting dance events in East Kent over the next fortnight - Jasmin Cardamon Theatre Royal Margate 6&7 Feb AND Ultima Vez The Gulbenkian 13&14 Feb. I will be on my way to Inverness, Aberdeen, Newcastle, and Edinburgh those nights, but if you can get down then do not miss these two amazing events!

If you can go and see Peeping Tom at the Barbican, do it. Unbelievable.

Some wise words from our primary school young arts leaders today "every dance is different and teaches you something."and "you don't have to be cool to dance." Yes indeed.
