Absolutely love this clinic! Ms. Lauren and her nurse are absolutely amazing!! When Ms Danielle left I was nervous we wouldn't find someone that cared for my children as well as she did and Ms. Lauren... showed us it was possible!!!! We happen to be there often and being in the healthcare field people like us can be annoying but they never show it!!! Thank you guys!! We appreciate you all!!!! See More

Dr. Levy is the very best Dr in this clinic!!! She is my grandkids Dr as well as my daughter's doctor. My daughter was born as a little 3 pound baby and I wouldn't have taken her to anyone else but Dr. Levy!

We LOVED Rainbow Kids Clinic and especially Dr Vernon. She always made us feel like she had a vested interest in our children's health. Even though this office is busy, the service was always personal..., friendly & thorough. I especially appreciated the ease at getting my kids seen quickly on the same day when they were sick. We've since moved and I wish we had a pediatric office here we liked half as much as Dr Vernon and the Rainbow Kids staff!! See More

I'm grateful that they got my son in as a new patient with a same day appointment. He needed to be seen and our current family clinic couldn't fit him in and that's an issue with me when we have been ...patients over 8yrs. But rainbow clinic squeezed my son in and now we have a new clinic to take my son too! Thanks you rainbow clinic! We seen nurse practitioner West. She was nice and great. Very welcoming as well. I say in my practice EVERY SINGLE DAY "Every year HEALTHY kids die from the flu." It is THE vaccine preventable disease most likely to kill today. And it is the most commonly refused vaccine. I will tell YOU like I tell my patients. My kids have never and will never miss their annual flu vaccine. Why? 80-90% of those who die from the flu have not been vaccinated. There could be no greater guilt than knowing you may have been able to prevent the death of your child. Some thing...s are not preventable. We can only do our best. But until people realize this is REAL we will continue to have weak herds, breakthrough cases, and DEATHS. One pediatrician said it best. She tells her people the flu shot is not to prevent the flu, there will be breakthrough cases. The flu vaccine is to help prevent DEATH from the flu. If you haven't gotten your or your child's flu vaccine PLEASE get vaccinated. Flu is here! And every ounce if prevention helps. - Dr. Vernon

My beautiful, healthy, vibrant 4 yo passed away on Christmas Day from flu. Leon was sick for less than 24 hours before dying. He had never had a serious illness... in his life, but he had not had his flu shot. He was supposed to receive it this week. It is the most helpless feeling in the world, being a physician mom and seeing that nothing else can be done for your baby. For my fellow physicians, friends, and family, I ask that you consider donating to his memorial fund, which will be focused on providing families with sick children assistance at Christmas time. You are welcome to share my post on your personal pages as well.

There is emphasis in medical training on flu killing the very young, very old, and immunocompromised. However, it also kills the healthy and strong, and it can kill them fast. Please continue the fight to convince your patients to get the flu shot. According to the CDC, 80-90% of children who die from flu-related complications did not have their flu shot. And those children are often kids like Leon.

Hug your babies tight. Please use Leon’s story to encourage your patients, family, and friends to get the flu shot. I am thankful for this wonderful community to share Leon's message and legacy

I will say that this is something I don't talk about often. But it is heartbreaking to learn about. Please talk to your kids about electrical safety. As society has gotten safer with technological advances I think we forget that there are still dangers around the house even for older kids, teens, and adults. Water and electricity should never be used together. This title is a little misleading. The phone doesn't have to fall into the bath to be dangerous. It appears this child was plugging in or was grabbing her plugged in phone while inside the bath.

Great information from a pediatrician in Texas.

My 10-month-old daughter Abby has some developmental delays. She is a sweet and happy baby who loves to babble ("mamama"... be still my heart!), pick up small toys and explore them slowly, play peek-a-boo, pick up her tiny foods with two fingers, point, laugh, and clap. Things she cannot do? Crawl w...

When you ask me about homeopathic products (I just can't call them medicines) and essential oils I try to remind parents that these are NOT regulated by the FDA and can have inconsistencies in concentration which can be dangerous. It is also often implied that the products are "natural". Well, so is poison ivy and opium. That doesn't mean I'm going to rub it on my skin or eat it. - Dr V

Disclaimer: I do not know if this report is accurate about the response from this particular manufacturer. I just wanted to take a moment to voice my concern since this article came across my newsfeed. I would LOVE to have good science behind these products to allow safe, consistent, appropriate dosing for many of these alternative treatments. Right now, we're still waiting.
