Well Alex, as promised, here are some more photos of your father catching fish earlier this week. He fished very well every day and while 9lb tippet wasn't enough for him from time to time, he caught plenty of fish.

We have been blessed with great fishing since the start of the season and yesterday was no exception. The fish were eating dry flies directly behind Thousand Lakes Lodge! I hope those staying there took advantage of the world class dry fly fishing on their doorstep!

I received a message re a box of flies that were found.
Hi Mike, Keep your eyes out for someone that has lost a small flybox chock full of hand ties and good o...nes at that. I picked it up on the Meander at Westwood bridge last night. If we are lucky they might call in to you for a replacement box.
If you lost it and can describe it you will get it back.
Please share.

Hi all, If you are heading down to Tassie or the Snowy Mountains over the Christmas break consider stocking up on your dry fly selection. The images are from Ch...ristopher Bassano's custom range and are super effective. If you have never tried the English style hopper patterns you are missing out, these super buggy patterns work during mayfly hatches, wind lanes and midge hatches. Buy a couple and try them out. Martin Droz has started his last day of tuition in Australia this year. He will be spending it on the Murrimbidgee River watching and tutoring everyone individually. Here are a few photos from the morning.

We saw plenty of fish caught on the river today and now Martin is finally finishing up his fly tying session. After just over 13 hours of work today, he is entitled to a rest.
