Before/After photos of today's Tri-County Illegal Dump Clean Up in Dickenson County! AMAZING what a team effort can accomplish!

Thanks to Toby Edwards, Director of Waste Services, Cumberland Plateau Regional Waste Authority for these photos and for ALWAYS organizing these great events! Cumberland Plateau Regional Waste Authority started the Tri-County Illegal Dump Clean Ups in 2006.

The staff of CWP have close to 70 YEARS of experience working with Probation & Parole, Corrections, Addiction/Recovery, Drug Court and are excellent with providing the intensive supervision required in CWP. Missy Carter, Doug Howard and Bob Gibson, along with the support and assistance of the Russell County Probation Officers and Sheriff's Office, the Lebanon, Honaker and St Paul Police Departments all help to make our program a success! We are also very grateful for the constant support of our Board of Supervisors! THANK YOU ALL!

WE LOVE OUR KIDS! The CWP always tries to help out with all the Little League Programs in Russell County! We do our best to help the Little League families to keep litter picked up at their fields as well as helping with trimming weeds! Today, workers helped with some painting and worked to help display the AWESOME sponsors and supporters of Lebanon Little League! ⚾LET'S PLAY BALL!⚾

The Russell County Community Work Program participated in the Tri-County Illegal Dump Clean Up today! During this event, several Counties work together to clean up dump sites in each County. So far this year, our CWP has assisted with clean ups in Russell County, Buchanan County and today in Dickenson County! During this spring's clean up, 9.6 TONS of waste was removed from Dickenson County, 8.3 TONS of waste was removed from Buchanan County and 5 TONS of waste was removed from Russell County! Thanks to all who have helped with this- organizers, drivers, site supervisors and community service workers from Russell, Wise, Buchanan and Dickenson Counties! GREAT JOB!
