In the past we have had great experiences with RC Willey, however, this last week has changed that. We purchased laminate floor covering for our kitchen and dining room, including installation. With t...he install, we paid for installation of footboards. Gerald Thompson, the salesman at RC Willey, also scheduled two days for the install.
On the day of installation, the installer arrived on time, and began prepping the floor which took a little longer than he planned. He then went to work laying the floors in the kitchen, dining room and landing. At about 4:00, he was just starting to work on the trim and baseboards when he received a call from his supervisor telling him that he was needed to finish a job down in Orem. I asked when he was coming back, No answer.
Kitchen, dining room and landing are still not finished!

After a long day we came home to a fridge that had quit working. Not planning on buying a fridge that day, we had no idea what we wanted so it took us awhile to decide. Adam was so patient with us tha...t night and was quick to answer all our questions. We worked with Ian in the clearance warehouse and he was a really good salesman to work with, knowledgeable and low pressure.

The delivery service is where my frustrations arise. We were notified th...e night before they would arrive between 12-3, then the morning of the delivery we were called at 10 saying they were ahead of schedule and would be there within 30 minutes. My wife had to interrupt her work schedule to be available that early. Strike 1.

My wife calls to say their professional movers can't get the couch up our stairs and are giving up. So I tell them to wait a few minutes and I leave my employment to come assist, we had measured everything and knew it would fit. Strike 2.

Our apartment maintenance guy saw the struggle and ended up directing their work and got it taken care of easily before I arrived. But not before the "pros" severely damaged the legs of the couch and somehow got grease all over the fabric, from their gloves I'm assuming? Strike 3.

I paid these people for a delivery because I assumed they would have the sense to remove the cushions and legs of the couch to make it fit and protect them. I paid these people for a delivery so that I could maintain my work schedule uninterrupted. I paid these people for delivery because I assumed they would do so professionally and promptly. Instead I got an ordeal lasting over an hour and a couch with some serious damage. I could have done that on my own and saved the $60.

The poetry of it all is it was a "clearance" item and no one will listen to us concerning the damage that took place in delivery. Because it was sold "as is". I sell used cars, and I am very familiar with that phrase. But it does not give me permission to take a hammer to someones newly purchased vehicle and brush it off with an "as-is" shrug.

We were terribly dissapointed this last transaction..bought a sectional and the sales person said they didn't have it at the store but will ordered it and would be delivered on Jan 26th. We had gotten... all ready for ot, sold out old furniture, even took time off work to have the floors refinished and all ready for the bwe furniture on time..and no one call us...the 26th we were waiting..and when I finally call to ask when is the driver coming,they said the item is on back order and did not have a date for when it would come! No one said the word back order one called us to let us know there was a rude! They bounced our call to the sales guy, who did not even say I'm sorrybforntheninconveniece..he tried to make it sound as If he had toldnus..but no..he clearly said delivery date Jan 26th, he even wrote it down. is February 7th..13 days later they will deliver..but we have not heard from the sales guy what resolution RC willey will do for us to make this right..13 days delay it's not's a shame! Not even an apology..not a discount for the real inconvenience...what terrible customer service..and I work customer service.mi know what white glove customer service is about. See More

Samsung has already replaced these parts. The fridge still doesn't work. Now it's worse than before. Quality Appliance/Josh said we have to play their game. We have to go through so many steps bef...ore and if we're lucky enough to get the fridge replaced. Josh has been out to "fix" our fridge multiple times already.

The freezer defrost and refreezes. The ice maker is now jammed with huge solid ice.

Rc Willey only provided the small fridge after going a week without a fridge. I had to try and keep my medically prescribed self injection shots at the right temperature using an igloo cooler. My medications have to be kept at a certain temperature and cannot be frozen; this is extremely difficult to do with a cooler and ice.

Then they brought a loaner fridge a couple weeks later after we called several times to check on the status of our repairs.

It has been over a week and a half and we just barely heard from the repair people. They stated they called us by accident and they had not ordered and/or received all our parts like they thought. She stated she didn't know more than one part was needed and would have to speak to the repair guy Josh.

When one buys a fridge well over $1,600.00, one expects it to work for a very long time. Let alone umder a year. We also purchased the extended warranty. We're not impressed by the response from RC Willey or the repair people. They all state it's Samsung's fault and their guidelines holding up the repairs.

It's ridiculous that all these problems are happening and RC Willey's considers it 1 incident and will not replace the lemon fridge with a properly working new fridge. They state it has to be three incidents, even though the repair guy has already been here more than three times!

We need this lemon fridge replaced immediately with the same or equivalent to the fridge we purchased.

ordered flooring through this location they did not contact us when the product was delivered to the store, so my wife called found the product was in and scheduled the install. I took a day off work be home for installation, the store did not call the day before to confirm the installation but based on the poor communication we had received prior to that we assumed it was an oversight. About noon the day of my wife called the store and the girl there said "its not scheduled, we are not going to install it if you haven't paid for it" only to later look at her notes and see we had indeed paid for it. Manager called me I explained the situation, he was supposed to call me back, instead he called my wife. Got a date scheduled but i wasted a day off and wasn't offered so much as a discount. this will be our last shopping experience with this company See More

We bought a sectional in 2010 -the fabric is disintegrating and has been for the past 4 years. We had 1 part replaced a few years ago- However we called and talked with them about getting it fixed-...NO too late
when you pay that much- it should last longer than 6 years. NO help

will not buy from RC in the future and will warn my military friends about it.

My boyfriend and I went to RC Willey just to look around and ended up purchasing a beautiful 7 piece living room set for a great price that same day. Our furniture was delivered by 8am the exact day t...hey said it would be and the movers had it all moved in within 15 minutes or less. Great experience! See More

Is there less than one star, SHAME.ON YOU RC WilleyS , my mom paid to have a washer ,dryer delivered, the old ones (which were only 18 months old bought from you ) were thrown out back of her home, th...ey put the new ones on top of stale may water left over from old one breaking .
Is this how you treat disabled, and elderly people???? ( she is sick and on oxygen and you have left her with unhealthy stagnant water....THANKS for nothing !!!!

Went to the Layton Parade today and saw the RC Willey sorry excuse for a float. Considering the amount if money spent at your store from the community you should be embarrassed.
