The New York Yankees are banning music by Kate Smith who made the so...ng “God Bless America“ famous, because early in her professional career she mistakenly complied with a request to sing two songs that had racist lyrics. She subsequently repented and became an advocate for fairness to all people. If they’re going to excoriate her reputation because of that incident, shouldn’t they expunge the records of all the Yankees who played with that uniform on before the integration of baseball?
The point is we can become ridiculous with our application of political correctness. Wise people learn from the past rather than allowing themselves to be ruled by it. See More
This Easter season let us forget about all the needless political st...rife around us and think of the magnificent gift of salvation provided by The Lamb of God. Let’s think of Godly principles like loving our neighbors, developing our talents in order to be useful to others and living a life centered on the kind of values that propelled our fledgling nation to the pinnacle of the world in record time.
