Tell people what you think

I get paid to say it's the best place ever! However, please do not get the wrong idea. This is not a paid advertisement. Just to be clear, they only started paying me to say that because they "disc...overed" me, really. See, I used to expound on Reciprocal's greatness while standing on various street corners, after dialing random numbers, going from door-to-door, and filling the airwaves with how great Reciprocal is to late-night AM radio hosts and their listeners. This was a freelance, not-for-profit endeavor. Well, I guess word got around and the next thing you know, I was called in for an audition. I was nervous, but I guess I liked them pretty good during the interview, because I got hired by that place I think is the best, as their new Person Who Thinks This Place Is the Best, who is now in charge of thinking the place is totally the best! How much better can you get, right? I manage how best to think of Reciprocal as best, and I also manage a small crew of some of the best thinkers of places as best on the east coast, on how to get more people to think of Reciprocal Skateboards and Pinball as the best place ever. Sorry for the long disclaimer, just wanted to be on the up-and-up; completely honest.

My Recommendation: This place is the best!

Could this be a behind-the-scenes peek at the new Reciprocal team that is rumored to be forming? I suppose it could.

Dear Friends, Family and Fans of Reciprocal NYC-

Over the last 5 1/2 yrs, our store has built itself from a little skate shop with a mindset of promoting love, art, competition and mutual respect in the skate community, to a larger one that continues the same beliefs. I know many would agree that we've created a business that is built strongly on customer service, know-how and positivity. I've personally spent countless hours behind it's counter, open til close, 7 days a week...

As most of you know, it is a Reciprocal tradition to celebrate every Christmas Eve (that happens to fall on a Wednesday) in bed until around noon, or so. I would like to welcome Brandon and Boris to their first ever Lazy Skateshop Eve!

We will be drawing the portcullis a little after our spaghetti lunch, as is tradition, as well.

Come by tomorrow afternoon or evening and pick up a Reciprocal Gift Card. Or lean on the counter all day and keep us company, as is tradition.

Oh yeah, don't forget to wear one yellow sock (as is tradition)!

Happy LSE, everbody!

Reciprocal Skateboards is collecting money..... Bring yours in for skateboards. Then, you can take them to the arcade down the street and get a beer.
