Not a fan! We were on a vineyard tour and the 14 of us unanimously agreed to cut this tasting short and leave. The wine was nothing special. It smelled Terrible. The employees actually told us (and ot...hers) don't know why it smells so bad but she advises to not smell the wine. Are you kidding? Since when can we not smell the wine?

The ambiance too left something to be desired. Too new and modern. I'd never return.

Stopped here after several other vineyards. They don't take cash. I asked 2 different people for recommendations. Told them I was looking for a medium dry white and red. Both showed me their list and ...did not help me with any other information . Maybe it was because the the entire staff seemed very young and inexperienced. Lastly I asked if could get a taste of the one of the items that I purchased that I was not familiar with and was told that it would be an additional $2. Not my best experience. See More

First impressions are everything for a new company.......I have been following on FB for awhile & it looked like a nice place to visit, so it was our first stop on Saturday. It was a beautiful place ...when we pulled up.....but then we walked in....it was extremely Loud ...the person at the counter didn't offer any information or help. We stood by the counter waiting for a free spot, finally saw someone put out clean glasses & went to that spot. One of the glasses was cracked & I handed it back. We were not offered a wine list when we came in,so we had no idea what to expect, I'm glad we only got 1 tasting for the 3 of us . We may try again next year, but was not impressed. See More

Went wine tasting for the weekend with some girlfriends. Found out a lot of the people at the wineries are kind of snobby/not thrilled about a bunch of girls in matching wine crawl shirts coming in. T...his place however welcomed us with open arms. The staff was amazing. The wine was amazing. Cant wait to come back. So glad they were a stop on our tshirt list! See More

Had a great time today at Red Top. Tasted some great wines and found a new favorite or two and had a great chat with the girl that was serving. I definitely will take her suggestion to come back when ...the food truck is there. Loving the Rock'N Red and the MI Happy Wine. See More

Made you feel very welcome. Were very accommodating and friendly. Asked if we liked what we had so far and even suggested some. We had each a glass and went and sat down. Very cozy atmosphere.

I stumbled upon this place by accident and really enjoyed my experience. It offers something a bit different. I drink mostly dry reds and beer. I tried 4 wines and even enjoyed the sweeter ones I c...hoose. Service was good, she explained the process and helped make suggestions on what to try. I think the barrel bourbon cab franc was rare and delicious. The ciders were also good and stayed for a pint of the jalapeño because it was so delicious. I'm definitely bringing friends and family back. Really unique and fun. See More

Went here for a wine tasting with a bachlorette group. The staff was amazing, the wine selection was unique and I loved the tap room feel! I wish I lived closer! It's not your typical wine venue and I... love that you can really taste the flavors in each wine! See More

We visited last month and did a tasting. I fell in love with the Caribbean Twist. It's the perfect blend with a bit of sparkle. Sadly we live over 5 hours away and did not buy enough while we were t...here. I haven't asked yet but would love it if they ship. Stop by for fun, unique flavors. See More

We just left Red Top. Before that we were at Gravity, which if you haven't caught on yet, appears to be the same ownership. We love Gravity and frequent the winery often. I am sad to say that we were ...not impressed with Red Top. I can understand trying something new, but we didn't find a wine that suited either of our pallets, but found wines that I would have to mix with some kind of fruit juice for a refreshing summer drink. I am no expert, but it seems like they only catered to those that like sweet wines, and not for people that prefer a more dry wine. I think it would be wise to sell samples already mixed with pineapple or peach juice, and let buyers see the potential of mixing them. Maybe its, because I like a good merlot or cabernet, but you won't find that here. It differs itself from the wine trail in many ways, but not ways for us. As for the staff that helped us, ehhh. They were not educated much on the process or offered anything besides "thats my favorite". Although they were nice, and the facility offered live enetertainment and a nice area for games, I would be hesitant to go back. Because we have a strong love for Gravity, we would probably give this place another go. I will also add in that the building is beautiful, and so clean cut and appealing on the interior. There is potential but I would reccomend making this place a stop for the beginning wine drinker or the start of your tour. It is hard to drink a mature red and then switch to a tasting of five sweets. I also didn't mind the wine coming from a tap, I did however dislike that our glasses were never rinsed after each pour, nor when we were done and able to take them home.... no rinse, no bag, no nothing. We are not classy people, but I think the staff is missing the basics. I think a little education with the staff would go a long way, but especially as a new facility, it does open the door for explaining itself. I don't know if the guitar picks had anything to do with the owner playing guitar or not, but I was made to look kind of dumb in being told that "they were just to select your wine choice". I thought maybe it was a little more personal than that, but maybe not.... best of luck. See More

We were happy to hear from the staff at Gravity that you are a sister winery. We love going to Gravity. As for us, we like the sweeter tasting wines and you provided delicious pours for our palettes.... You had one person on staff and she was friendly and knowledgeable. The only drawback we could see on the interior is NO available seating. We realize you're a new business (6 weeks new) but as you grow we are hoping you offer similar deals to your sister winery. We purchase more wine from Gravity then any winery in the area. We look forward to visiting you again. We will be bringing our wine club on our fall tour as we're excited to have them sample your wines. Best wishes for continued success! Sherri and Patrick. See More

Was there with a friend yesterday. Really liked the patio and outside with the chairs, shade areas, and really loved the band, but they stopped before we got outside with our glass of wine (end of day...). Our taste person was very nice. Wines are from taps and I didn't see that there were bottles for purchase. The wines are different but good. I would go back to check it out again after it's been open a little longer. See More
