I would like to see what these, or similar, artificial reefs look like after nature has settled in. Any photos?

This is a quick video to show one of the types of reefs we have done in the past and how quickly it can create its own ecosystem. It's quite amazing!

It has been a busy week at the reefmaker yard. These four 25ft long 20,000lb spools are being prepared to be deployed as artificial reefs out of Mexico Beach, FL.

Efforts to get the SS Minnow off of Orange Beach continue... still there as of this morning.

Spent the day riding around the Panhandle of Florida and decided to stop in to the Navarre Beach Gulf Snorkel Reef to check out the... old and recently deployed artificial reefs. I was surprised at how many people were out there snorkeling these reefs. There are a total of 90 artificial reefs just off the beach now and they are full of life. Saw a few turtles (one with a hook in its mouth) and plenty of other reef critters. Great pit stop. I'm excited to see the newer reefs mature!
Great Job to all of those involved with this reef deployment!

The effort to restore and protect the eroded shoreline at the Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site hinges largely on technology that absorbs the energy of destructive waves created by passing ships.

Below is an article written on our Atlantic Coast ReefMaker. They will use the patented Wave Attenuator mold and design we have in Brunswick Town. The EcoSystem discs will assist with their major erosion issues they have on their shoreline. If you have a situation in your area contact us, we can help!

Big storms bring coastal erosion, and when Hurricane Matthew blew past Brunswick County last October, Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson was not spared, with the bluff in front of the historic site’s Battery A losing nine feet of shoreline as well as some trees along the water.
