Well hello everybody great to be back in Washington dc it's like not really it's really hot outside that's why no wearing a jacket I just want about a half a mile and so with the humidity and heat it's not very pleasant well thanks for tuning in tonight so we're gonna do a couple of things here that talk about a couple issues and then we'll take your questions so I'm getting right after it um there's a big story regards to my facebook about care in Canada but as most of you know in the winter time they line up to get their surgeries they're elected care it's ration that's not what America is all about so let's put that nonsense to get away from him and this rebuild our health care system this patient that focus on patients Center now the American way everybody wins that way that's the American spirit that you know the House is put something forward uh the Senate is debating over something we're hearing they may have something by the end of the week maybe voting on it sometime early next week we will see but regardless of what happens in the stand I would hope that either either bill goes to a conference Committee like the constitution reads so that we can come up with the bill that everybody has to vote on this compromise from both that's the way our constitution found legislation so stay tuned we'll see what happens um bring your ideas for we have some wonderful people in in San tan Valley brought some wonderful ideas by forward um so we love to hear those because who knows maybe your the one person that sets things for you so now I'm gonna be opening up to your questions so all the look turn to faith and to take the first question so turns out with some technical difficulties there's also some audio issues at the beginning you just restate briefly what you mentioned the beginning we're going facebook okay well as you know that's been a big commotion about my facebook remember it's my facebook and it's my rules and what is it happening is that we've had some people use our facebook and the very fell use foul language and threatening language and they've been banned from our facebook they've been block they don't have a constitutional right to my facebook so if you want to play and have a conversation whether you agree or disagree that a difference of opinion new ideas during the civil fashion that's how we actually get things done in America um but if you're gonna use laying which will serve soon find out that you're banned from my facebook as well and so it's my prerogative to do that because it's my facebook so uh that kinda gets us back up the skirt one from the audio and moving first question warm class says what's your solution to the healthcare dilemma and I know you and I talk a lot about this today so if you feel it everyone in where you are right now well the biggest key for health care the limits it's gotta be patient centered patient focus we gotta see promises that were not men under Obama care which means lower premiums keeping the doctor that you like keeping insurance that you like having choice rebuilding the marketplace so the biggest key here is something that's been overlooked is I talk about it from before I was even in Congress and that is making the insurance industry's compete against themselves coming up with ideas imagine that so the first thing here is making sure that the people that are gonna be providing insurance also compete against each other getting the very best coming for the patients this is an app called the karen ferguson that happened way back in 19 45 and give them an exclusion 11 exclusion from sherman and clayton anti trust laws now why would you say that makes a matter well none of us can use it okay I'll give you an example what's for 10 dollars out here in this audience are all cardiologist and what we're gonna do on this facebook post if you're playing this game is that we're gonna set prices bike every one of us is gonna agree to what we're going to charge for by pass surgery can we do that no federal government comes in we're fine we're broken up and go to jail but that's what the insurance industry does with each one of us they know everything about each and everyone of us is in the time that there something the same rules because of the creme of the crop is gonna rise to the top so that's key number one and when you look at Obama care the four groups and sold the patient out where the insurance industry pharmaceuticals the big hospitals and big doctor groups and the tour returns but which one of those four actually controls are part of part of those three or three of the four pieces that I just that living you rated they pay for their their money that they giving they pay for the reimbursement pharmaceuticals and they pay doctors groups and hospitals so we'll see increasingly great opportunities within that market place the bill that was presented early on did not lower premiums and actually rose premium still didn't give me a choice and then rebuild the market place that's why when the group that I was in the freedom caucus help strong to renew rate the two basic principles that is title one which is the insurance regulations and the essential benefits if you keep them the same no matter how you dress it up no matter what ribbon you put on it's still exactly what you have today that's failing so you gotta get some activity to those essential oil benefits you gotta get some changes to those insurance regulations and you take that with that five percent of our population is spending 50 percent of the dollars there's a better way than what we're doing right now so what is of happening something like what ted cruz was talking about and senator lead was saying listen if you're going to compete in the market place you have to have a compliant of protocol for Obama care but also give people choices of the insurance that they would like that that's how you rebuild the market place some people will say well that dance a donation to people with preexisting conditions now when is that happening at least in the House bill uh an insurance company cannot hold you down based on preexisting conditions might be able to charge more that is possible but for those that are actually having high catastrophic plans whether they're high deductibles um are having a high risk pools we look at something different that is what they call a blind risk pools currently being used in numbers of States for one is belt bring the opportunity apartment is in maine so when you go into this pool you're paying your premium to the pool and this ensures are competing in that pool to give you the state of the art care the best part this medications that can come around and so I actually build a better program folks I know I know you're scared and there's every reason to be because Congress hasn't been quite up to par they made promises that never cat but our backs against the Wall what you got to lose at this point in time what we're gonna do is rebuild that market place make sure that the very uh uh needy have and the most people that need the best health care get that care in a timely fashion and the rest of us can actually have lower premiums that's on the table now we'll see what the Senate comes up with it may be very different than what the House put together what happens is then you go right into a conference call right so conference people are selected they find out what the language is going to me I say that you know literally they debated and they agreed to the certain provisions from both sides that this presented to both chambers if they can pass it then it goes to the President that's how legislation works so um you're not probably gonna see exact without that bill is you're probably not gonna see exactly what the Senate bill is going to be it's gonna be something in the water something that as a capital so stay tuned we'll soon find out what the Senate is up to um but it's probably not gonna be uh uh very much like the hospital so patch dealer says why does the gop continue continue to be on the defense in allowing the left to find and control the discussion is someone investigating Hillary call me you could talk a little bit about your letter to ag zones so um we actually early on fire back a letter to attorney general sessions son by four other members plus myself and basically said is that there are some serious allegations particularly in the last year they came to life the biggest key was young masking American citizens you saw this and um he brought forward in the general flynn conversation earlier this year as a citizen your entire through privacy with the federal government comes to cost you the after mask you and now we're finding out that it's not just the general plan that's not just a thousand it could be as many as 40000 Americans were a mask we need to get to the bottom of that because privacy is yours um the federal government can't and should not be spying on you so we will let her to attorney general sessions that they have the ability to have special prosecutor and special counsel investigate that we still haven't heard all the ramifications are details regards to fast and furious we still don't know the details on the irs and a government that can take a tax you can take everything as well and the mascot and so we've ask for those things from the attorney general to investigate um what's happening right now is there still going to confirmation are still 205 confirmation short in the J so until we get some more people that probably not gonna become a reality but we're waiting for that ball game thanks for reading reiterating that so they can tell the story um but we would like to see the Justice Department get back to the equal application of the rule walk and they can do this and and we provide them the cover to exactly it's extract that marjorie Dallas says 75 percent of Arizona wants National monuments to say public lands why do you want them sold to private interests I don't market um what is it happening is is that these are huge monuments and mornings of happening if you go back to the law that's teddy roosevelt passed in the early 19 hundreds it was for the smallest amount of land to do its job not fit one point five million acres in someone is up happening is we in the West take a huge hit in regards to those moment I wanna preserve those things for eternity but I also got to make sure that we can pay our bills look at our school systems I mean we're constantly tell irate yeah uh rating of accounts to try to get schools paid in the state of Arizona or what's different in Arizona vs maybe back in the East Coast is that we were never given the land in our States like all the rest of the States we're giving these monuments are wonderful um but they come in a cost and so what is happening is we wanna make sure that it was back to the real nature of that law the smallest piece of land that maintains the integrity of that month the last but not least arizona's got now 22 monuments so were the most of any state that's a law that takes a lot out I'm sure people will argue we get some benefits from the tourism dollars but it's not comparatively to some of the taxable aspect so the land that we could be losing so here's what I would like to say I would be happy to see this process continue forward that we Reserve protect some of the wonderful lands we wanna keep but the federal government can do it by itself from now on so we're trying to work so that if the President wanted to take a moment you have to get permission from the state and the local jurisdiction in order to do that we're the ones that have to live with in our backyard and it's buy right um we should be the ones who done it so I'm not wanting to sell it off but I'm wanting to do is making applied to the rules of the way the letter of the law breeds that question thank you as the chairman of the Western conference I think this next question is good for you uh johnny baxter ask why is it that there isn't there is not anything being done for the problems in the West as it seems as though it's all in the East well wonderful question once again so if you start looking at the map of America and you start counting votes East of the Mississippi or to find a whole bunch more votes in the East of the Mississippi in the Western misting you take that into that over eighty percent of Congress is turned over in the last eight years you got a real learning problem we gotta teach people what's so special about the West you know Arizona we drink whiskey because White lunch for fighting over we have a wonderful landscapes and people who just talk about earlier you know there's a lot of things that are are unique about the West so we have to teach them about that but because we also have pure um votes in the West it's easy targets to get um the rules and regulations passed because once I got to the West on the West they are easily applied in your everywhere else so this is a big deal for me I was elected as the Western caucus chairman and we've now got 73 members of joint bipartisan only and we're working on solutions um for for people to understand the West some of things I try to propose this is having people from the East come out to the West two and see what we have to endure right now and lots of wildfires in the West quickly and Arizona why is it drive how do we get our moisture we don't have lots of sitting water we are professional about water when they learn that when they walk with us down that path way of understanding they have an ingrained for them that's how we become very very powerful but we also get the solutions that having wide acceptance across the board because the facts and solutions and the science all follow those protocols so we're working on that but once again with your goals we're trying to make a uh a big name here however at the beginning of this year we were able to use some of the congressional review act applications to relieve some of the pressures that have been put on the West this was our um always pass that allowed uh a new Congress to repeal certain rules and regulations and not just repeal put an impediment there so that it could happen again they have to go back and change those like waters of the us yet parts of five Supreme court rulings that actually to five P for actually going in there for control what you would you then size is injunction and jump through and jump of release that said listen up you can't do that you saw the course and file injunction against the clean power saying not only can you not put a rule start doing the world but you can't even try to write until we have a verdict on it so it is school process and you know um and we'll tell you making sausage isn't easy and it's not quick but to do it right you need to turn over and have the life they see if people have to see you the covered those that are elected have to see and look at the nuances to make sure that when I'm making a bad bill too much we done been reactionary to pass the bill very fast and we don't have a good build as well and so great question bring it back to the ever present healthcare is the doctors in my perry asks why can't we meaning Republicans just repeal of our okay we certainly could that was our promise but we in the House we have ask for that repeal and and we couldn't get enough votes in frankly um a lot of those votes were East of the Mississippi so I will just tell you that um the votes were there actually happen maybe the rich maybe if the Senate can't get the votes um to get a health care option on the table that's not repeal and the House bill is not a repeal either it's a rescue uh we gotta make sure that patients have the access to healthcare and the means to pay for in a market place that actually helping in the mouth um so I would look at that is a rescue but maybe if they can't maybe the real cat the real can be up to getting a bipartisan uh solution repeal it enforce the parties to come together on behalf of the American public and the patient so maybe you have something there I think it's very value that you feel something and then try to rebuild alright michelle has a tour that question for us to end on to them she asked do you agree with the one point six billion dollars added to the budget for next year to build the border Wall for homeland security do you believe American taxpayer should foot this bill I do because Congress actually passed that bill um the authorized it to actually built and that was the big part of the last election you can take polls all you want but the real sofas sufficient evidence is is the last election America once that Wall others a different way of looking at walls and we made per made some giving some options and I'll give you some examples that we pitch to the administration in the southern part of our state there's an and remember I'm like natural resources and I'm on water power and energy minerals just to remind everybody okay so we have the lower Santa cruz which is on our southern border and what happens is mexico's high ground and where low ground and so when they get the flooding like we do it monsoons what is happening we got the flooding aspects but what happens is we see a road being destroyed our businesses our homes isn't the time to tame the water instead of letting the water team us and so this time occurs wash is part of Mexico and the United States why not address and empower Mexico and the United States and Arizona have the solution both sides are gonna pay their fair share to make it work and you have a solution that both people are in both countries are invested it you need a Wall when you do that in that area same thing with no girls no gallons has a problem with waste water once again Arizona drinks whiskey because water is for fighting over I'll take that water cuz we got a treat water and take care of water but this is a great solution for the city of Dallas Arizona gallons Mexico because when you invest together both sides are going to split the bill and what is happening there gonna take care of so there's some creative ways are out there once again Congress dictated the Wall um it behooves us to do that we got lots of our ranchers and businesses on their Wall they deserve the same type of protection is that we in Washington dc do or in prescott or in uh
